There might be cases in which surgery could help to eliminate your snoring. The choice to have surgery, however, should not be entered lightly. There are always potential effects from having surgery. Some people feel that they need surgery to remove excess throat tissue. This can be done through a surgery called Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty. Today another surgery is also available which is the same basic treatment but using laser surgery. This treatment is known as Uvulopalatoplasty.
